QANOPEE (QuArt NOrd-Est PrÉmultiplication collective: collective vineyard pre-multiplication tool for the North East of France) is an innovative new project for Bourgogne wines. Indeed, the quest for high-quality vines in perfect health has led the three wine boards from the Beaujolais, Champagne, and Bourgogne regions to invest in this project for the production of plant material, grafts, and rootstocks in sealed, bioclimatic greenhouses.

ENSENADA, Mexico – The Wine Origins Alliance today announced that it has been granted observer status at the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV). This announcement was made in conjunction with the OIV World Congress, which brings together scientists, scholars and wine producers from around the world to share knowledge and the latest findings regarding grape cultivation, production, characteristics and more.

The 51st awards ceremony for the Bourgogne Wines Cave de Prestige was held on Thursday 30 June 2022, at La Comédie du Vin in Beaune. François Labet and Laurent Delaunay, Co-Presidents of the Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB), were delighted to announce a fine selection of wines, despite a complicated period in terms of availability.

In 2012, on the request of its elected representatives, the Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB) decided to stop translating the word “Bourgogne”, whatever the country. The aim is to help consumers find their way by ensuring coherence between our wine labels and the name of the region where the wines were created. #BourgogneWines
