Wine Paris 2026: The Must-Attend Event to Kick Off the Year with Bourgogne Wines
The Bourgogne Wine Board will be attending Wine Paris from February 9 to 11 at the Bourgogne-Jura Pavilion, in Hall 7.3, Stand C.115, with a renewed program showcasing the dynamism and diversity of the vineyards.
At the heart of the stand, the Bourgogne Bar will offer either selfguided tastings or guided tastings led by an Official Bourgogne Wine Ambassador, featuring a selection of Bourgogne wines with an excellent qualitytoprice ratio.
Short, flash tasting workshops will be offered with open access in English by Uliana Rudzevich (@mother_of_bubblesss). These sessions will explore the concept of Climat in Bourgogne through the comparison of wines from the same AOC and the same vintage, but from different Climats.
An interactive terminal on the stand will provide access to the Bourgogne Maps platform, allowing visitors to visualize the Climats linked to the wines tasted, as well as the geographical production areas of Bourgogne’s 84 appellations.
An interactive floor map of the show will also make it easier to identify Bourgogne producers exhibiting at Wine Paris.
In Hall 7.3, a free tasting area will give access to more than one hundred wines presented by the producers, illustrating the diversity of Bourgogne AOCs.
SAVE THE DATE – Panel discussion on 11/02
On Wednesday, February 11, from 2:30 to 3:30pm, a panel discussion will be devoted to the sector’s decarbonisation strategy, with the participation of energytransition experts and industry professionals.
The new recognition of 70 Bourgogne AOPs by the People’s Republic of China was confirmed during the official visit to China on December by Emmanuel Macron, coinciding with his meeting with President Xi Jinping.
This recognition became effective on December 5, following the publication of the list of the 70 concerned appellations in Chinese regulations.
These newly protected AOPs join the 10 appellations already protected since May 2024, bringing the total number of Bourgogne appellations now benefiting from enhanced legal protection in China to 80, out of a total of 84.
This outcome forms part of the so-called “100–100” agreement, signed in September 2020 between the European Union and China, and is the result of close diplomatic cooperation between France, Europe, and the Chinese authorities.
Since 2023, the Bourgogne Wine Board and the Confederation of Bourgogne Appellations and Winegrowers (CAVB) have intensified their efforts, notably in coordination with the CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration).
Four Bourgogne appellations are still subject to legal and administrative procedures before they can, in turn, benefit from this protection.
Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne 2026: Five Days at the Heart of the Terroir
From March 9 to 13, 2026, Bourgogne will welcome wine professionals, including many journalists, from around the world to explore the diversity of its vineyards.
Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne will return from March 9 to 13, for an 18th edition dedicated exclusively to wine professionals. Organized every two years for more than 30 years, the event offers a tasting itinerary across Bourgogne’s different wine-growing regions.
Each day is devoted to a major area of the vineyard, from Chablis to the Mâconnais, via the Côte de Nuits, the Côte de Beaune, and the Côte Chalonnaise. In total, 13 tastings will be held at several venues, making it possible to explore the full range of appellations, from the most emblematic to the lesser-known appellations.
A traveling press room will once again be made available to accredited journalists, offering internet access, dedicated documentation, and interview coordination.
Save the date: Wednesday, March 11 at 3:30 p.m.: Press Conference
Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne will also provide an opportunity for the Bourgogne Wine Board to speak at a press conference scheduled for Wednesday, March 11 at 3:30 p.m. (French time), to:
• provide an update on current developments
• address the sector’s economic challenges
• revisit the objective of carbon neutrality by 2035
• present upcoming projects and events
The press conference will be accessible:
• in person, by invitation

• on demand via the press room and the Bourgogne Wine Board’s YouTube channel
Rendez-Vous with Bourgogne Wines: Auxey-Duresses finally in the Spotlight
The program Rendez-Vous with Bourgogne Wines will highlight the Auxey-Duresses appellation on Wednesday, March 4.
The first part of the program, hosted by Robin Kick, Master of Wine, will shed light on key aspects of the appellation through reports and interviews with producers.
The second part will be devoted to a guided tasting of several wines. Joined by winegrowers and négociants, the host will respond to questions submitted live via chat.

The Bourgogne Wine Board Provides a Tailor-Made Media Kit
The Bourgogne Wine Board’s press office provides you, journalists, with a media kit designed to facilitate access to information on the Bourgogne vineyard. This dedicated page brings together a wide range of technical and educational resources.
The media kit provides access in particular to:
• maps of the wine-growing regions
• key figures
• technical sheets for the appellations
• an interactive atlas allowing users to explore parcel-level boundaries
These tools are designed to support a clearer understanding of the geographical and technical specificities of the Bourgogne vineyard. We will update it every two years with new key figures.
A section dedicated to current affairs also provides access to press releases, including vintage reports dating back to 2003, as well as a photo library of more than 8,000 royalty-free visuals intended for editorial use.
Last chance!!!! The Saint-Vincent Tournante Maranges 2026 will take place on January 24 and 25 in the villages of Cheilly-lès-Maranges, Dezize-lès-Maranges, and Sampigny-lès-Maranges.
As the event approaches, the official website www.saintvincent2026.fr/en/ centralizes all the information needed to prepare your visit and cover the event.
Visitors will find comprehensive practical information to help plan their trip, as well as sections dedicated to the program, activities, partners, and ways to take part in the event, including through volunteering.
The site also details the tasting kits, their contents, pre-sale conditions, and pricing, along with the cuvées specially produced for the 2026 edition.
A dedicated press area is also available, bringing together press releases, visuals, and press contacts.
Following a first Saint-Vincent held in late January in the Maranges, the 20 Chablis villages will take over on February 7 and 8, 2026, with a new edition hosted in Ligny-le-Châtel.
Preparations for the event began as early as June 2023 and have involved the entire village. Residents have met regularly to design the decorations and organize the different aspects of the event.
Ligny-le-Châtel, a village with a long winegrowing tradition, was already established before the phylloxera crisis of 1875 and later experienced renewed growth with its integration into the Chablis appellation in 1976.
Today, the Saint-Vincent remains a unifying highlight for local residents, supported by the commitment of volunteers, the municipality, and the assistance of villages that have previously hosted the event.
The program will begin on Saturday, February 7 with a gastronomic banquet (fully booked), the opening of Cellar No. 1 in the afternoon, and a public dance open to all in the evening.
On Sunday, February 8, the village will be celebrating from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with access to the cellars, the tasting of the cuvée produced by the commune’s winegrowers, and an official segment including speeches and inductions.
Bourgogne vs. Burgundy: to re-affirm their identity, the region and the producers are reverting back to the original French iteration of the name, Bourgogne.
