Hospices de Beaune Wine Auctions: All eyes on the Bourgogne wine region

On Sunday 15 November, the 155th Hospices de Beaune Wine Auctions take place in Beaune. This event, preceded by the Chapitre au Clos de Vougeot, on Saturday evening, and followed by the renowned Paulée de Meursault on Monday, is a celebration of the new vintage.
In parallel to the official celebrations, the general public can indulge in tastings during the 143rd Fête des Grands Vins de Bourgogne, or else head off to discover those estates and wine houses who throw open their doors for the weekend.
In the middle of fall, why not get away to the Bourgogne wine region, whose Climats structure of land management was included on the UNESCO World Heritage list in July 2015. Numerous events will be organized during this special weekend, the highpoint of which is the sale of the “Pièce des Présidents”, a barrel of wine that will go under the hammer on Sunday afternoon to raise money for charity.

Journalists, to bring the flavor of this event to your audiences, the Bourgogne wine sector proposes several events. We hope you will join us!
