Seguin-Manuel is celebrating a double anniversary this year: the 200th anniversary of its foundation in 1824, and the 20th anniversary of its takeover by Thibaut Marion and his associates.
Initial production of 20,000 bottles a year in 2004 increased to almost 120,000 bottles in 2024. Seguin-Manuel now vinifies and matures wines from the Côtes de Beaune, Nuits, Chalonnais and Maconnais, from regional to grands crus appellations. Nearly ¾ of its cuvées are exported to some 30 countries.
Over the past 20 years, the domaine has expanded and now runs vineyards in the villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard, Beaune and Vosne-Romanée. Wines from these plots have been certified organic since the 2015 vintage.
The artisanal scale of its business enables Seguin-Manuel to maintain the style that has made it such a success. Low-intervention winemaking give the wines a natural grace, a beautiful balance, a good understanding of the terroirs, accessibility in youth and a fine ageing potential.

At the end of the day, a charity sale of 20 emblematic Seguin-Manuel cuvées raised over €15,000. Profits from the sale will be donated to the Institut du Cerveau et la Moëlle épinière.
