Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny are ready to host the 2024 edition of Bourgogne's most famous festival. On January 27-28, the two villages will present two wines created exclusively for this weekend, which has been organised with love and care around the arts.
You must have seen the poster for this event designed by Camille Garnier, an artist from Bourgogne who has a passion for all forms of art and design.
The Association of Saint-Vincent Morey-Saint-Denis/Chambolle-Musigny and the glassware manufacturer Lehmann have worked together to come up with a specially designed glass for the occasion.
This Saint-Vincent Tournante is determined to be eco-friendly event. To this end, wherever possible recycled materials have been used for stands and goodies, and it features local producers with short supply chains, a minimum of individual packaging, compostable crockery and reusable glasses and cups.
The tasting kit for the weekend includes entry to eight tastings, featuring wines from 160 estates. From Saturday lunchtime to late afternoon on Sunday, 14 cellars will be open for visitors to discover the Bourgogne appellations, as well as the Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny Cuvées, specially created for the occasion.
Three cellars will be set up to welcome children, with a kit including hot chocolate, fruit juice and madeleines.
→ Book your tasting kits adult (€20 online or €25 at the event) and children’s kits (€5) on our website.
The exciting programme will kick off with a traditional parade on Saturday morning, starting at dawn from the Château du Clos de Vougeot. Winding its way through the vineyards, it will pass through the villages of Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. This will be followed by simultaneous religious ceremonies at the churches in each of the two villages.
The entertainment continues afterwards, with enthronements by the Chevaliers du Tastevin. There will be music, singing and dancing in the squares and streets throughout the weekend.
New for 2024: Saint-Vincent Tournante 2024 strives to be an inclusive event, offering services and an accessible site for people with disabilities, particularly in terms of mobility (PRM parking on reservation, dedicated welcome points, escort service, etc.).
