Bourgogne Week explained!

The next edition of Bourgogne Week London is approaching fast…

From 7 to 11 January 2019, London will be hosting the essential wine event, Bourgogne Week. This will be the opportunity for British wine importers to present their selection of Bourgogne wines from the 2017 vintage, in the presence of many professionals from the wine region.

The Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB) is supporting the events organized by setting up a media platform. Strategic partnerships with several trade publishers have already been formed.

Like every year, social media will also play a key role via the hashtag #BourgogneWeek.

•   Bourgogne Week is catching on!

The London event has been so successful that a Hong Kong event has been launched and this year, a third Bourgogne Week in Tokyo was held in June. The idea is the same, with a series of Bourgogne wine-themed events being hosted across the city. But there is one difference between the London edition and the Asian events: The profile of the hosts is more varied in Hong Kong and Tokyo. They include importers as well as wine store owners, restaurants, and even wine bars.

With more and more events being organized year-on-year, and increasing visitor numbers, Bourgogne Week is fast becoming a key event in the annual calendar in these three cities.
