Discover Aligoté one of the forgotten varietals of Bourgogne, which has plenty of surprises in store for you.
The next episode of “Rendez-vous avec les vins de Bourgogne” on 6 February 2019 will be dedicated to the
Aligoté varietal. In the Bourgogne region, it can be found in the Bourgogne Aligoté
Régionale AOC, which, thanks to the hard work of producers who are naturally keen to raise its profile, has now established a strong reputation on the market. It is also found in the
Bouzeron Village AOC, which is the only Village appellation to be produced 100% from this varietal. We also take a look at the only Climat of Morey Saint Denis to be classified
Premier Cru, which is also produced using the Aligoté grape.
“Rendezvous with Bourgogne Wines” is an interactive show that brings together hundreds of wine industry professionals for each show, featuring an appellation or certain details about Bourgogne wines.
The show lasts for one hour, the first 20 minutes being dedicated to a presentation of the theme, including reports and interviews with winegrowers. The second part includes a
guided tasting of several wines that you can taste simultaneously with Jean-Pierre Renard, trainer at the
Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne, an expert in Bourgogne wines, who
will answer your questions live on Twitter using the #BIVBRDV hashtag.
The show will be screened in 8 countries in English and in French. Exceptionally, this edition will not be broadcast in France.
To take part in this innovative learning session, we invite you to contact your local network of Bourgogne Wines Ambassadors to check whether a session is being hosted in your country.
