Our family moved to Le Bois de Leynes in 2019 to create a winegrowing and farming estate: Clos Sauvage. We look after 6 hectares of vines, a conservatory orchard with 50 fruit trees, 10 hectares of woodland and meadows and a few highland cows.
We produce organic wines in the Burgundy (Bourgogne Blanc, Saint Véran, Mâcon Chaintré, Pouilly Fuissé) and Beaujolais (Beaujolais-Leynes, Saint Amour, Julienas) appellations, which stand out for their precision and freshness. We harvest our grapes by hand and use indigenous yeasts.
We are a farm in search of autonomy and we cultivate in agro-ecology: respecting the life of the soil by sowing plant cover, developing diversity through the presence of trees and animals, self-production and short circuits.
We welcome the public to the farm all year round, with a range of options on offer: visits and wine tastings, winemaker's snacks, wilderness walks around the estate, an immersive half-day with the winemaker, van and camper van visits.
