In the heart of the Côte-de-Nuits, Domaine Philippe Cordonnier embodies the perfect blend of Burgundy tradition and modern vision. Created in 2009 in Corgoloin, the estate is the reflection of the career of a passionate winemaker, trained in Burgundy's greatest estates and guided from the outset by his demanding standards and love of the terroir.
Today, the estate covers 7.5 hectares of renowned appellations such as Nuits-Saint-Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin, Beaune, Fixin and Pernand-Vergelesses. Each plot is cultivated with the utmost precision to reveal the richness and diversity of Burgundy's terroirs.
Committed to a structure on a human scale, Philippe Cordonnier personally oversees every stage of the process: controlling yields, working the soil with pickaxes, harvesting exclusively by hand, rigorous sorting... This constant commitment helps to create authentic, elegant wines with a strong sense of identity.
The family dimension is reflected in the Cuvée Jade, made from the rare Pinot Beurot grape, created as a tribute to the winemaker's daughter and produced in small quantities.
Since 2023, the estate has been officially certified organic, confirming a long-established philosophy of respect for living organisms, observation, patience and precision.
In the cellar, the wine is made naturally, using indigenous yeasts and carefully controlled barrel ageing. Racking and bottling follow the lunar cycles to accompany the wine without rushing it.
The result: wines that are sincere, expressive, elegant and true to their origins.
Wines that tell a story: the story of Burgundy, the story of a man, the story of a committed estate.
