The Ropiteau Frères wine house was created in Meursault in 1848 and has been producing great white wines ever since. These are artisanal wines designed with rigor and sensitivity; hand-crafted, elegant, and honest wines. Here there is no opulence but nuance. The emphasis is on aromatic expression, with wines that are tense but long, leaving a silky trace to linger on the tongue. The wines are matured in barrels in the 15th-century cellars formerly owned by the Hospices de Beaune.
