Domaine Moreau Christian Père et Fils

Us*

The Moreau family, wine-growers from father to son, established themselves in Chablis in 1814. Our vines, covering a total area of 11.6 ha, are amongst the plots with the best exposure in the Chablis vineyard, from our Chablis to all of Grand Crus. The philosophy of the Christian Moreau Père et Fils estate is to work in the greatest respect of the Chablis “Terroir” in order to produce a wine of great purity, characteristic of Chablis wines. We apply an overall policy of controlling yields, allowing us to have a maximum concentration in each grape as well as the true expression of our “Terroirs” through our wines.
In order to respect our harvest, we use manual harvesting only for all our appellations and all of our grapes are selected on a sorting table.
In 2010, we began to convert all of our vineyard for organic certification. This certification is the logical conclusion of the change in our methods which are moving towards a greater respect for the vine, the harvest, the environment and future generations.
