Domaine Massard is located in Belan-sur-Ource, not far from Aube. Founded in 1995, it produces Crémant de Bourgogne (30,000 bottles in three vintages, a blend, a brut rosé and a chardonnay cuvée). It has around twelve hectares of vines. Today, it is run by the second generation of Massards, who have taken over from their parents. Jean-Philippe and Olivier have become grower-manipulators following major investments, and practise integrated viticulture, harvesting by hand under the advice of a Champagne oenologist. Of their 3 cuvées, the Chardonnay Brut won the bronze medal at the Chardonnay du Monde 2024 competition. Another new feature is the arrival of the Bourgogne Pinot Noir vintage 2023, matured in casks. A still, fruity, silky wine guaranteed to be a hit.
