We have been growing grapes at Viré in the south of Bourgogne since the 18th century, and in 2013 we began making our own wines. As nature-lovers, we chose to build our winery using environmentally-friendly materials, such as straw and terracotta. Our wines are grown in a responsible way that respects the local flora and fauna. Viré is the home of the Chardonnay grape and the basis for the two AOC wines we produce: VIRÉ-CLESSÉ and MÂCON VILLAGES.
