Domaine Jubare

Us*

Jubare: Justine, Barthélemy (and Ernest, the heir).
Justine and Barthélemy, an unusual couple:
We're not agronomists by training, and none of our family members work in agriculture in any way. Our respective backgrounds did not predestine us to take over a wine estate. So what were we thinking?
In 2023, we left our respective paths to do the harvest at Roc D'Anglade. We haven't been out of the vineyards since. Over the last 10 years, we've built up a wealth of experience and know-how at every level of the industry.

Domaine Jubare is also a return to our origins.
The origins of Barthélemy, who was born in Burgundy, the origins of our wine apprenticeship, and the origins of the wines we prefer to drink and share.
We look after 5.84 hectares of Chardonnay, 100% in Fuissé.
We work all the different exposures, all the different terroirs, all the different slopes (from 0° to 40°), all the different ages - from dashing newcomers to calmly rooted centenarians.
We work with them to get to the heart of the vines and the soil. All our techniques are designed to help the vines produce the best possible harvest.

We vinify with indigenous yeasts, following the juices at their best, meticulously guiding them to their destination: precise, delicious, complex and just right.
Our aim is to make wine that can be drunk, shared, tasted, preserved and, above all, enjoyed again.
