Situated in southern Burgundy, in the charming communes of Péronne, Azé, Saint-Maurice de Satonnay and Viré, the vineyards stretch over clay-limestone plateaux typical of the Mâcon appellation, which accounts for most of the production, and siliceous plateaux for the Vire Clessé.
Handed down since 1889, the estate originally consisted of 3 hectares of vines extended by land used for cattle rearing by Antoine and Georges Rousset.
