Domaine des Beaumont

Us*

Situated in the three communes of Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny, Domaine des Beaumont farms just over 5 hectares in the Côte de Nuits. This small estate produces some very fine Burgundy wines, mainly reds, with a single white cuvée.

The Beaumont family's winegrowing history goes back more than seven generations. In 1991, Thierry Beaumont took over the management of the family estate and created the name "Domaine des Beaumont". He developed bottled sales, particularly for export, and modernised the production facilities.

Today, a new generation has joined the adventure. His two sons are fully involved in the life of the estate: Tanguy is in charge of business development, while Exupéry is devoted to working the vines and managing the vineyard. A new lease of life in keeping with family values.

The Domaine des Beaumont wines are small, haute couture cuvées. Thierry Beaumont offers a refined range of wines from the Burgundy appellations, villages, premiers crus and two grands crus (Charmes-Chambertin and Mazoyères-Chambertin), spread over Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, where the estate is based. In total, the estate produces eleven red wines and one white wine, all from the prestigious Côte de Nuits. These include a white Morey-Saint-Denis, a truly original wine in a region renowned for its reds.

The estate uses integrated viticulture methods and vinifies its wines with indigenous yeasts, to preserve all the finesse and authenticity of Burgundy's terroirs.
