Domaine de L’Aubraine

Us*

Peasant winegrowers set up in 2019, in the north of the Mâconnais, in Sant Gengoux de Scissé (71260), in an appellation where there are few independent winegrowers, we farm 3.30 ha of vines and we want to show that another method of production is possible.

We're a bit different from other winegrowers in that we're certified organic, follow biodynamic principles and plough our vines with our Comtois horses. We've decided to follow our convictions and it's working!

When the grapes are ripe, they are picked by hand and then gently pressed, to fully respect the nature of our terroirs.

After a gentle settling of the must, the indigenous yeasts present in the grapes allow alcoholic fermentation to begin naturally. Malolactic fermentation then starts spontaneously.

Our wines are matured on their fine lees in stainless steel vats, barrels or half oak muids until early summer.
Our wines are not filtered and we bottle them ourselves.

We are passionate winegrowers and are happy to share our philosophy and expertise with you.

Discover the terroirs of the northern Mâconnais through our wines.

Tastings and tours of the estate are available every day by appointment.

We look forward to meeting you!
