Domaine de Chaude Ecuelle

The Domaine de Chaude Ecuelle is a family run operation : the VILAIN family has been cultivating its vines and making its wine in the Chablis area for several generations now. "Chaude Ecuelle" is a "lieu-dit" where some of the Domaine's vines are planted. These plots, far way from human habitation, not only produce excellent wines, but in the past obliged the hardy winemakers to bring their own meals which they heated up on-site! The quest for quality remains a primordial goal for the Domaine. Respect of the environment and traditional methods allow for a fine expression of the Chablisien "terroir".
