Domaine Coche Bizouard Alain

Us*

The Coche family has been winemakers in Meursault for several generations. Our estate was created in the 1940s by Julien Coche-Debord, then taken over by his son Alain Coche-Bizouard.
It is now run by Fabien Coche (Alain's son), who manages 12 hectares of 40 parcels of vines in Meursault, Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie and Pommard.2003 saw the launch of a small wine merchant business to buy grapes from Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Saint-Romain in order to broaden our range. To date, we vinify 27 appellations.
The estate will be organically farmed from the 2023 vintage.
Regular ploughing allows the roots to find the terroir and typicity in the soil, and we work with low yields because this is necessary for the quality of our wines.
We sell 95% of our wine in bottles (an average of 100,000 bottles a year): 50% for export, 20% to private customers, 20% to wine merchants and 10% to the restaurant trade.
