Clos Sauvage

Us*

Our family moved to Le Bois de Leynes in 2019 to create a wine and farming estate: the Clos Sauvage. We take care of 6 ha of vineyards, a conservatory orchard of 50 fruit trees, 10 ha of forests and meadows and some highland cows.

We produce organic wines in the Burgundy (Bourgogne Blanc, Saint Véran, Mâcon Chaintré, Pouilly Fuissé) and Beaujolais (Beaujolais-Leynes, Saint Amour) appellations, which stand out for their precision and freshness. We harvest by hand and use indigenous yeasts.

We are a farm in search of autonomy and we cultivate in agro-ecology: respect for the life of the soil by sowing plant cover, development of diversity through the presence of trees and animals, self-production and short circuits.

We welcome the public to the farm all year round, offering several formulas: visits and wine tasting, winemaker's snacks, wilderness walks around the estate, a half-day immersion with the winemaker, van and camper van visits.
