The orientation of the farm has been to stop using weedkillers for several years. Soil work has taken over. The village appellations are all under tillage. The rest is mixed with mowing. The aim of this approach is to accentuate the microbial life of the soil, to make better water reserves. Bacteriosol (bacteria in the soil) has been introduced to boost the natural nutrients of the soil. The Aligoté is enhanced by a special breeding.
