This estate has been run by the Lenoir family for 6 generations of winegrowers. The estate is located in the commune of St Maurice de Satonnay, a small village halfway between Mâcon and Cluny. The 30-hectare vineyard is planted in the communes of St Maurice de Satonnay, Péronne and Azé, which is also famous for its prehistoric caves. The vines are planted on hillsides and mid-slopes, on clay-limestone soils with a south/south-east exposure, where several noble grape varieties (Chardonnay, Gamay, Pinot Noir) grow harmoniously together.
