Place the shortcrust pastry in a floured pie plate.
Preheat your oven (200°C)
Brown the bacon (lardons) in a hot pan until they are nicely colored. Set aside.
In a bowl, beat the eggs, add the fresh cream and continue to beat.
Pour the bacon (lardons) and its juice on the dough and distribute them well.
Finally, pour in the cream and egg mixture. Optional: Sprinkle with grated cheese if you wish.
Bake for 30mn at 200°C
