The United-Kingdom remains Chablis wines’ first export market, with 24% of its foreign sales made across the Channel. In order to galvanize and reinforce this market, about forty wine-makers are going to London on the 11th of May for a Pure Chablis Day.
This special day represents an opportunity for the winemakers of Bourgogne to promote their wines to 200 English professionals: sommeliers, wine store owners, importers, distributors or even journalists. For these professionals, it is the perfect opportunity to directly meet the producers and to discover the diversity of Chablis’ terroir.
This event takes place at The New White Loft, located at 6-14 Underwood Street. It revolves around a continuous tasting from 10am to 6pm during which professionals can taste Chablis wines and discuss with the winemakers. A masterclass is also proposed to know more about the particularities of the several appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. This Pure Chablis Day ends with a diner reserved to the press.
