LONDON, Bourgogne week – to be or not to be, it is NOT the question

From 11/01/2021 to 15/01/2021

LONDON, Bourgogne week – to be or not to be, it is NOT the question

It is the British wine professionals’ traditional beginning of the year meeting and one could have imagined that the pandemic would have sounded the death knell of this unique week whick puts Bourgogne wines under the spotlights. It is all the contrary, domaines, négoces and cooperative cellars don’t wish to give up their business partners, especially as British market knows a good growth, despite the 2020 difficult context, being the first Bourgogne wine importing country in May and June 2020.
From 11th to 15th January 2021, London will live in unisson with Bourgogne wines either online or during physical events. The watchword is given: « Be amazed »! Be amazed as in the peacefulness of the cellars lesser-known appellations are just waiting to be revealed.
As resonant as the ‘ban bourguignon’, as shimmering as the vines during autumn season, this week will definitely be ‘much ado about something’, with online or physical tastings, round tables organized in partnership with The Buyer and more than ever a strong social media campaign with #BourgogneWeek. Be part of it: Bourgogne wines are back to London.
