Bourgogne Maps has been enhanced with a practical new feature: Search by name of Climat and lieu-dit!
Do you know Bourgogne Maps? It's a free online mapping tool that lets you find maps of Bourgogne's 84 appellations and 396 wine-growing villages.
It offers a number of features:
You can search in different ways: by commune (village), by appellation, by appellation level….
Latest: Earlier in 2024, we have launched a new, much-awaited service: A tool to search by Climat or lieu-dit name. Using the search engine, you can now find the Climats and lieux-dits for each village (commune) on the map.
You can also combine "search by commune" (village) and "search by Climat / lieu-dit": Once you have chosen your commune/village, the tool will automatically suggest a list of Climats and lieux-dits for that commune/village.
This tool is aimed at anyone who wants to understand the classification of Bourgogne wines.
