Description *: Over the last few years, the show has become an integral part of the local and even regional landscape, and has enjoyed growing success.
Mâcon, the capital of Southern Burgundy, is a town with a highly renowned wine and gastronomic heritage.
The show brings together more than 100 appellations representing the whole of France's wine-growing region.
Alcohol and spirits will also be present at the show, with visitors able to taste cognac, pineau, armagnac, floc de Gascogne and rum,

The Comité des Salons et Concours de Mâcon, the organising association, wants to offer visitors a diversity of appellations based above all on quality, but also on a balanced representation of French wine-growing regions.
Wine lovers will be able to find wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Provence, Languedoc Roussillon, the Loire Valley, Alsace, Franche-Comté, Savoie and the Rhône Valley, not forgetting the South-West and Champagne.

The wine fair also features some fifteen stands offering gastronomic delights and products associated with or derived from wine.
Gourmets will be able to sample oysters, pognes, ravioles, charcuteries, cheeses and many other products from the French terroir, all of which are ideal for food and wine pairings, as well as eating at the exhibition between two wine tastings or discoveries.
