Le Permis de Bourgogne is first and foremost a book co-written by Jacky Rigaux, a leading Burgundy wine specialist, and Dominique Bruillot, editor of Bourgogne Magazine.
In its original version, it combines a freely accessible MCQ of 100 cultural questions with a book of over 200 pages detailing each of the answers to these questions, which can easily be used among friends or as part of short training courses.
It's a great way to familiarise yourself with Burgundy wines before you actually taste them, and its simplicity and user-friendliness have already won over hundreds of wine-lovers.

For the Fascinant Weekend 2023, part of the Permis de Bourgogne team will be performing twice in Meursault, for attractive talks lasting around 1h30 (Saturday 21 October, at 10h30 and 15h, Cellier Robert de Grancey).
Participants will be able to talk to the instructors about questions published in the reference book, as well as other questions specially created for the event, relating to the appellation and the village of Meursault. This event will also provide an opportunity to discuss wine and cheese pairings.
Participants will leave with their Permis de Bourgogne, so they can continue their quest for knowledge on the subject.
