Description *: Every year, at the end of January, Saint Vincent, patron saint of winegrowers and protector of vineyard workers, has been celebrated since 22 January 1938, the date of the first Saint-Vincent Tournante created on the initiative of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin. Originally a religious event, Saint-Vincent Tournante is a celebration of the mutual aid and solidarity of winegrowers organised within the Sociétés de Secours Mutuel.

Every year, a Saint-Vincent Society welcomes all the other societies in Burgundy to its territory at the end of January. Over the weekend, the host village or villages are decorated for this festive event. Winegrowers, local residents and volunteers pool their skills and give up their time to organise two days of festivities in their area and welcome up to 60,000 visitors, wine lovers and connoisseurs... A unifying, convivial moment to share!

A programme of commemorations and tributes is strictly defined with the support of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin :

- parade of each Société de Secours Mutuel from all over Burgundy with their statue of Saint Vincent and their banner,
- tribute to the deceased of the communes,
- religious ceremony,
- induction of 'old' winegrowers into the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin.
These are just some of the highlights to delight the many visitors, not forgetting the opening of the tasting cellars to give visitors a chance to appreciate the typical characteristics of the wines from the appellation that are being showcased on its terroir.
