Description *: The Mairie de Santenay and the Domaine du Château Philippe le Hardi are organising an evening of music and wine pairings on 4 October at the Château Philippe le Hardi in Santenay.

From 7pm onwards, you can taste a selection of wines from the estate before discovering the Ensemble Orchestral de Dijon at 8.30pm.
The Château Philippe le Hardi estate comprises almost 98 hectares of vines in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise regions. A wine tasting will be on offer to help you discover our Burgundy terroirs.
Created in 2004, the Ensemble Orchestral de Dijon, usually conducted by Flavien Boy, a graduate of the Paris Conservatoire, is a symphony orchestra made up of amateur and professional musicians. It will be performing in its "chamber orchestra" format, with some twenty string players led for the occasion by guest conductor Benoit Graindorge, a long-time companion of the orchestra.
On the programme:
Vivaldi: Excerpts from the Four Seasons (Spring, Summer 1st movement, Autumn 2nd and 3rd movements),
Solo violin: Marie Vayrou
Dvorak: Serenade for strings, in 5 movements
Mozart: Little Night Music, in 4 movements

Price: Admission €15 including wine tasting and concert - children (under 18) €10 including concert only.
