Since February 7, the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne in Beaune has been hosting the exhibition “Four Seasons of the Vine – The Work and the Days”, a series of watercolors by Anne Le Maître.
Through this original artwork, the artist delicately captures the vineyard landscapes and the vine’s transformations throughout the year: shifting light, seasonal colors, atmospheres and rhythms of the vineyard. An invitation to contemplate Bourgogne from a new perspective, closer to its identity and its Climats.
Poetic and sensitive, the exhibition is further enriched by poems written by various artists, giving depth and life to the watercolors. A collective collaboration led by the Atelier des Noyers.
Highlight: during the school holidays, a family activity titled “Vineyard Sketchbook” will take place on Saturday, February 21, from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. An accessible watercolor workshop open to all, designed to introduce the basics of the technique and leave with an illustrated sketchbook inspired by vineyard landscapes.

New in the scenography
At the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne, a short immersive video (5.30 mn) highlights the cultural and international influence of Bourgogne wines.
From the poetry of French 19th Century poet Alphonse de Lamartine to pop culture references like The Simpsons, this installation shows how Bourgogne wines inspire and shine far beyond the boundaries of our vineyard.
A new way to discover Bourgogne, at the crossroads of heritage, culture and openness to the world.
