2019 vintage

After a relatively mild winter, the growth cycle started early. But colder weather in April resulted in a few frosts that hit certain sectors and had an impact on the future harvest. After lovely weather in May, June saw cooler temperatures that upset the flowering somewhat, with shatter and millerandage in places. A hot and dry summer ensured the grapes ripened well. The harvest began in early September and continued into October.

The whites are very appealing, with notes of apricot, acacia blossom, quince, and candied orange. In the mouth, they are full-bodied and perfectly balanced. This is a beautifully indulgent vintage.

The reds offer pleasant aromas of red and black berries, along with floral and spicey notes. In the mouth, they have exemplary structure, are dense and harmonious, and present sophisticated tannins.
