Château des Jacques

Us*

Château des Jacques is a historic estate, born in 1924 from the winegrowing dream of Amédée Rousseau. Today, the estate has 69 hectares of vines, spread over 3 crus: Moulin-à-Vent, Morgon and Fleurie, as well as around ten hectares of Chardonnay in the Beaujolais Blanc AOC. Its winemaking methods remain faithful to its roots: those of Greater Burgundy: the macerations are long and the wines are partially matured in oak barrels in the Château's 17th-century cellars, reflecting the brilliance of the Gamay grape as well as its longevity.
