Wine tourism: Southern Bourgogne wins a Vignobles et Découvertes label

The Côte Chalonnaise and the Mâconnais already have a strong wine tourism network, and now they have joined “La Colline du Montrachet,” “La Colline de Corton,” “Dijon-Côte de Nuits,” “Le Vignoble de Chablis,” and “Le Vignoble de l’Auxerrois” in the club of label-sporting wine regions.

The BIVB and Bourgogne Tourisme have been working closely with everyone involved:
- Le Pays Sud Bourgogne for the Mâconnais
- Le Syndicat Mixte du Pays Chalonnais for the Côte Chalonnaise

The award of these labels recognizes the joint efforts of all the service providers involved and the desire to promote an attractive wine tourism offer in the area.

For the Mâconnais, 124 tourism services have been labeled including 38 cellars. In the Côte Chalonnaise, 111 service providers are covered including 25 cellars.

Vignobles et Découvertes labels are valid for three years, and the first destinations to win the qualification, “Dijon-Côte de Nuits” and “Beaune, de Corton en Montrachet,” which will soon be reaching the end of their certification period, have seen their labels renewed for a further three years.
