Bike To Care en Bourgogne: 9 & 10 May 2022

20/04/2022

Bike To Care en Bourgogne

About a year ago, Maison Louis Jadot decided to launch a solidary project called Bike to Care en Bourgogne, biketocare.org. This project was created to raise money for charity associations that provide support to the hospitality industry by helping those in difficulty as well as helping new talents pursue their dreams.

Several Burgundy domains (Domaine Marquis d’Angerville, Domaine Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey, Domaine Dujac, Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat, Maison Louis Jadot, Domaine des Comtes Lafon, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine Etienne Sauzet) have mobilized themselves around this initiative in favor of this industry that has been both financially and mentally affected by the pandemic.

On 9th and 10th May 2022, hospitality personalities, chefs and sommeliers from Denmark, USA, UK, France will come together in Beaune to push themselves to their physical limits by participating to an endurance cycling race. Across subsequent days, Bike to Care will see international teams covering 100km of Burgundy’s viticultural heartland twice over.

Each team will be formed by eight cyclists, with around 100 participants from around the world taking part in Bike to Care and each team will raise money for a charity organization in its own country.

France will be supporting Cuisine Mode d'emploi(s) and Association Jean- Claude Vrinat.
