The Gevrey-Chambertin appellation investigated through its geology and geography

The Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB) invites you to enjoy this video in which Jean-Pierre Renard, Expert Instructor at the Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne (Bourgogne Wine School), explains the geographical and geological characteristics of the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation. This appellation is produced in two villages, Gevrey-Chambertin and Brochon. One of its characteristics is that it spreads over two combes: the Lavaux combe and the Grisard combe. This video is taken from the “Rendez-vous avec les vins de Bourgogne” show (December 2018).
