New from the BIVB, the two “Gourmet Passports to the Wines of Bourgogne” each offer 24 recipes, organized into moments to enjoy food. One in French, the other in Japanese, they suggest food and wine combinations for the 100 Bourgogne appellations. This initiative reflects the BIVB’s new communication strategy: to underline the great aromatic subtlety of Bourgogne wines and the infinite possibilities of matching them with French cuisine in one case, and Japanese cuisine in the other, and also with myriad other styles of world food. Designed as an advisory aid for retailers, they also make the perfect gift for lovers of food and wine.
